I couldn’t think of a title for this blog post & the main gist of it is…that I’m PREGNANT! We’re pregnant! Baby P is arriving in the Spring & we are over the moon. It has been a difficult year for all – this little blessing is arriving at the perfect time for us & our family. We can use some baby snuggles, baby smells, baby grunts!
I have so much to say & share with you about my pregnancy so far. It has been a lot of moments of lessons & giving myself grace.
I wasn’t sure when I was going to share our news – social media has been an odd space for me this year but my gosh I am SO happy I did because the love & warmth you shared towards us was exactly what I needed. I felt so relieved after sharing – I guess I needed to share our news more than I thought!
Our baby BOY (!!!) is expected to arrive on May 28th. However I have a feeling he may want to show up on his grandfathers birthday (my dad) on May 20th. How sweet would that be? <3 He of course will arrive when he is ready & we are dreaming of that day. It will be here before we know it! I feel like pregnancy is flying by but also crawling like a snail. Anyone else feel me?
Another fun thing to add, you all know how I love horoscopes, the moon cycle etc. I’ve been reading up on a Gemini child spirit & what I’ve been reading aligns with our baby I always thought we would have. This may sound a little out there but whatever I’m embracing it; I feel I already know the souls of my children. Here is a short blurb of a Gemini Child written by Baby Centre…. “A quick and lively mind Gemini children tend to be communicative, charming and sociable. Even if your little one is on the quieter side, he’s still quick-witted, curious and fully aware of the world around him.” Angelo & I were sociable, curious babies & it seems fitting that our child would be similar. I know, I know, this is fun for me to read about and I know they will be whoever they are meant to be!
And then on the other hand if he was born on my dads birthday (which I think he might…) a taurus child sounds fitting as well. “Even as a baby, your Taurus child is sweet, affectionate and cuddly. He is also likely to be strong and cheerful. Introduce your baby to the great outdoors as soon as possible because young Taurus children will thrive in a natural environment. … Even when young, Taurus children are practical and good with money”. written by Baby Centre
We shall see! Eek!
I am so proud of this little community we’ve built in the last decade & I feel the luckiest to have you lifting me up & sharing your wisdom as I go through my first pregnancy. Thank you again for all of your love & support. I have a lot to share with you that I am so excited about it!
Sending you love & light,
V
