Father’s Day is coming up and I can’t help but think about how someday Angelo is going to be the father to my children. It won’t be a surprise to me if we have little monkeys as children though, have you seen our hair and eyebrows? Angelo is totally winning in the eyebrow and hair game.
One of the traits that had me head over heels for Angelo was his deep love for his family and the dedication he had for his future family at the young age of 18. The moment he was talking to me about family I was already painting the white picket fence in our front yard with our kiddos running around and a pitcher of lemonade on the porch. I also thought, “Damn whoever his wife is, is going to be one lucky lady.” Here we are today, 8 years later, engaged, setting our life up for a family and having many sleepover with our nephews. The start of My Motherhood Story, right? 🙂
So, I am dedicating this post to Angelo, the fathers, the future fathers, the Uncles, the grandfathers and the fathers to pets…. giving you guys big hugs and a big pat on the back for being awesome. Even though I focus on the mama’s you are just as important! I know I am early but I hope you have a wonderful Father’s Day.
