The beach. One of my absolute favorite locations to photograph. I love the simplicity the beach gives my photographs, I always feel the most powerful creatively in an open, quiet space. I also find that children love the beach too! There are so many moments for them to run free, explore, look for seashells, jump over the crashing waves…I say this over and over again, but I love to capture a child’s (and mother’s) natural spirit & the beach is the great place for that.
This was my first time photographing at Sherwood Island in Westport, CT. I already have a few sessions lined up this year that I’m so excited about! I feel like there is so much more to explore there. *This is me putting out into the universe that I want to plan even more sessions here! I’m telling you, this place..there’s magic in the air here. I have a few more openings this summer ;)*
